Listowel Visual Artists’ Collective (LVAC) 

 

Co-founded by visual artist Louise Lynch, the Listowel Visual Artists’ Collective is a vibrant community comprising over 50 talented artists from various disciplines and backgrounds.

 

The exhibition, 'New Beginnings', is the inaugural showcase that captures the immense talent and creativity of these local artists. Set against the backdrop of the renowned St. John’s Theatre and Arts Centre, this event celebrates the rich cultural tapestry of North Kerry. 

 

The works on display encompass a diverse range of artistic disciplines, including painting, drawing, sculpture, and mixed media. 'New Beginnings' effectively brings together artists with different backgrounds and styles, exemplifying the vibrancy and diversity of North Kerry’s artistic community.

 

This exhibition is not only a significant milestone for the Listowel Visual Artists’ Collective, but also a testament to the collective achievements of the entire artistic community. 

 

The launch of 'New Beginnings' promises to be a remarkable celebration of the visual arts, marking a new chapter in the artistic journey of Listowel. 

 

‘New Beginnings’ is available to view in St. John’s Theatre and Arts Centre in Listowel until the end of January 2024.
